MEMPHIS, Tenn., May 26, 2022 – Volunteer Memphis is distributing 2,000 free health and wellness kits to at-risk populations from now until September to combat health disparities in Memphis as part of a grant-funded program from Memphis Housing and Community Development. “We are proud to partner with these incredible organizations to distribute 2,000 health and wellness kits to low-income people, home-bound seniors, and the unhoused population here in Memphis,” said Shelby Stonecipher, Director of Volunteer Memphis and Community Outreach, “These communities have long been underserved and we are grateful to Memphis Housing and Community Development for giving us the opportunity to get these people the resources they need.”
