Volunteer Memphis Announces 2020 Volunteer Memphis Awards Winners

MEMPHIS, Tenn., June 25, 2020 – Volunteer Memphis celebrated some of the exceptional volunteers impacting their communities during the 3rd Annual Volunteer Memphis Awards.

More than 200 people attended the online ceremony using the virtual event platform Lunchpool. People can see a full list of winners below or on the Volunteer Memphis website at https://volunteermemphis.org/volunteer-memphis-awards

“We are thrilled to honor these outstanding volunteers serving the Mid-South,” said Andrea Hill, Director of Volunteer Memphis. “We want others to see the selfless work these people and organizations are doing and be inspired to emulate that service for their communities.”

The Volunteer Memphis Awards is a “thank you” to the 300,000 Mid-South volunteers who give tirelessly of themselves each year. People nominated individuals, service groups, nonprofits, and corporate volunteers from across the area for 14 categories.

The Volunteer Memphis Awards are presented by International Paper, Christian Brothers University, AutoZone Center for Community Engagement, and Memphis Tourism. Special thanks to our media sponsors WREG-TV and The Memphis Flyer as well as Memphis City Council and the Shelby County Commission for their support of the 2020 Volunteer Memphis Awards.
